My Experience as an intern in Techstern Solutions (Harsh Kotecha)
Field marketing is a branch of marketing in which brands get their products in front of consumers “out in the field “at retail locations, events, college campuses or in public locations. Field marketing initiatives include promotions, demos, and direct sales. The objectives of field marketing vary by company and campaign, but some common goals include brand awareness, increased sales at targeted locations, and increased engagement with local buying communities.
I on behalf of Evoboutiques doing intern as field marketer visited different boutiques in Ranchi and contact to the owner of boutiques to get registered with us. I also told them about our pricing policy which will apply when a transaction of buying and selling starts on an Evoboutiques site.
This one month experience has helped me in dealing with various peoples existing in the dynamic business environment.
Field marketers can also serve as the bridge between marketing and sales while still doing the heavy lifting in promotional and street team marketing.
